He first gained notoriety in the mid-1970s when he worked in the Northeast United States. He later founded Worldwide Entertainment LLC, as well as The Entertainment Group Fund Inc.

These two companies are involved in event promotion worldwide, and Worldwide Entertainment is recognized as the 3rd largest independent event promotion company in the world. While most promoters join major conglomerates, Jack Utsick and his various companies have remained independent, and thus conserved their ability to create and promote the best events possible.

Despite the highly competitive nature of the industry, The Entertainment Group Fund has excelled. The company has helped to host and promote events for such heavyweight acts as Robbie Williams, Queen, David Copperfield, James Taylor, Dennis Miller, Alan Jackson, Keith Urban, Donny Osmond, and Korn. With offices all over the world, these two companies, under the direction of Jack Utsick, have been able to excel in a way that few other entertainment promotion companies have been able to. The Entertainment Group Fund is headquartered in Jupiter, Florida, and it was incorporated on April 1st, 1994.
